First Floor Renovation

This first floor renovation project reimagines an entire main entry sequence for a family that loves to entertain. The foyer was refreshed with a statement wallpaper, updated lighting, and new furnishings, setting the tone for a more elevated entrance and interiors beyond. A once-expansive formal living room was intentionally scaled down into a series of defined areas for living and dining through the use of furniture groupings, millwork details and lighting. Adorna introduced a coffered ceiling and subtle wing walls, beautifully paneled, to anchor the central living area about the fireplace. All-new furniture, decorative and ambient lighting, and accessories were curated for a welcoming ambiance, while luminous wallpapers bring unexpected color, pattern, and an unexpected element of fine art. The adjacent butler’s pantry now has a rich, color-drenched palette accented with an antique mirrored backsplash. The result is a timeless and sophisticated interior that feels thoughtfully layered, blending quiet luxury with moments of bold texture and personality.
